Weather Instruments
A cabled Davis Vantage Pro is the source for all web site temperature, humidity, rain and wind data. An AthlonXP 2100+ PC monitors the weather station, updates the website and streams the weathercam. Weatherlink is the software used to read data from the weather station, create the HTML files and graphics, and upload them to the website.
The temperature and humidity sensors are housed in an aspirated enclosure and are suspended 5 feet above ground on a tower on the north side of my home.
